Please use these instructions if you are using Microsoft Windows version 95, 98, 2000, ME or XP.

1. Start by creating your web page using any type of webpage creators (Word, Frontpage, Dreamweaver, etc.)
   
2. Make sure that you name your main webpage file index.html.  (This allows you to be able to view the page without typing in the file name.)
   

TO UPLOAD TO WEBSITE

1. Open a browser window and type the following URL into your address bar:
   ftp.dtccom.net
   
2. Log in by using your dial-up username and password.
   
3. Drag your webpage files from your desktop to the browser window.
   
4. Make sure you have uploaded all files that are on your web page, including any pictures, or linked pages.
   
   

TO VIEW PERSONAL WEBSITE

1. Open a browser window and type the following URLinto your address bar:
   http://www.dtccom.net/~username
   (username = your internet login)

***NOTE***   If you do not name one of your pages index.html, you will need to type in the file name in order to get to the page.

EXAMPLE  (If you wanted to get to a page called, mypage.html you would type the following into your address bar.)

http://www.dtccom.net/~username/mypage.html
(username = your internet login)
