myDTC

DeKalb Telephone Cooperative, Inc (DTC) has been the local telephone company serving areas in Alexandria, Auburntown, Gordonsville, Liberty, Milton, Norene, Smithville, Temperance Hall, Woodbury, and Woodland since 1951. We were created by local citizens to bring basic telephone service to these rural areas at a time when none existed owing to the higher costs and lack of profits in servicing rural areas of Tennessee.

We have served and endeavor to continue to serve, both residential and commercial customers in our rural communities with quality communications services at competitive rates.

In addition to our basic telephone services, we bring advanced communications services to our rural communities, including wireless service, Internet access, high speed data services, special calling features, voice mail, customized business systems and DTC TV service.

MISSION STATEMENT FOR DTC

To convince our members, through hard work and a "can do"
attitude, that we provide better service than any business they currently receive service from.

We will spend money that has been entrusted to our care as though it were our own. Decisions about expenditures will be guided by providing the latest in service and hardware technology, at the same time, providing these services at rates that are competitive.

Employees will be well-trained, well-supervised and managed, and paid fair and reasonable wages. In exchange, the employees will be expected to contribute their best effort, hard work and positive attitude to achieve the goals of the Cooperative.

To create a work environment where the board and employees of the Cooperative judge to be a "Great Place To Work".
