Windows Live Mail

Download, Install, and Configure Windows Live Mail

Open up your web browser and go to http://download.live.com/wlmail
Click on the “Download” button.

Now click run or save.

If you clicked run, it will automatically download and run. If you chose save, it will ask you to run.

Go through and select what you want to install. Of course you want to select the “Mail” option to include Live Mail in the install.

Now just give it a little time to install...

Click “Continue”.

Click “Close”.

Now close all windows and get back to your desktop.

Click on the “Start” button, then find “Windows Live” folder. Click the folder, then click the “Windows Live Mail”...

Give it one moment...

You will see this the first time you open “Windows Live Mail”. Fill out and follow the prompts.

Verify your settings with your ESP (Email Service Provider).

At this point your email account is setup and now just click “Finish”. If you need to make any changes, you can always right-click on your account in the main mail window, and select “Properties”.
